A former salon owner with over 25 years of experience in the professional beauty industry, Hardy oversees Sexy Hair's creative team, creating and teaching stylists the company's twice-yearly haircut collections and developing new show formats. Hardy is literally the "face" of Sexy Hair, attracting a global following as he demonstrates his great artistry and motivational skills at hair shows all over the world. The charismatic, award-winning hairdresser and educator was hired as platform artist by the Sexy Hair founder in 2000 and studied under him for over a
decade, working his way up through the ranks as master educator/platform artist, then director of the Institute of Courage, Sexy Hair's premier educational facility, before reaching his current position in 2007. As the Artistic Director, along with spreading the Sexy Hair message worldwide, he frequently meets with consumer and trade magazine editors to brief them on all things product related. Most recently, Hardy has been the lead role in creating

Deshonica Kerrie has been in the beauty industry for 25 years. She is a Texture Specialist for Peter Coppola Beauty,  Global Educator for Design Essentials, Master Cosmetologist and owner of the Deshonica Kerrie brand. Deshonica is also a motivational speaker that encourages and acknowledges Intrinsic Beauty. She is driven daily by her strong passion for the beauty industry, education, healthy living, and mentoring.

Deshonica’s work can be seen in many publications and media outlets.  She enjoys working as a high fashion hairstylist for fashion shows and being a host for many Natural Hair and Health Expos.

TV, the Style Channel, VH1 and on “The Biggest Loser”, as well as magazine editorials for People and Beauty Launchpad.

Rusty Phillips was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri where he currently owns Belle Epoque salon. He says he first knew he wanted to be a hairdresser when he was 18 years old, straight out of high school. Now, Rusty has been in the industry for thirty-six years and is inspired by nature, architecture, and fashion. When asked what drew him to TIGI in the first place, Rusty said “I started using TIGI in 1987. I loved all of the imagery that TIGI had out there,
and the education they were providing. I was hooked and haven’t looked back since.” Over the years, he has had a hand in several events with TIGI, including ABS in Chicago, Cirque Du TIGI, World Release, and he assisted at the
2012 NAHA photo shoot!

John Radu was born in Budapest, Hungary and currently resides in Calgary, Canada where he is the owner of Cannibale Barber Studio. He did not know that he wanted to go into hairdressing until after his mother (who was a hairdresser) passed away. Now, John has been in the industry for seventeen years and finds inspiration in fashion, as well as the streets and cities around the world. When asked what drew him to TIGI in the first place, John said “I prepped at a TIGI show backstage with James Morrison, and that is when I got started with TIGI.” Over the years, he has had a hand in several events with TIGI, including World Release, Chicago ABS, Premiere Orlando, ISSE, and more!

Starting her hairdressing career in Sydney, Australia Renee has dared to defy the boundaries of fashion and hairdressing, which has pushed her to achieve the multi-faceted elements that her career has seen. Becoming a member of the TIGI Australia Artistic team in 2006, Renee worked tirelessly to raise the awareness of TIGI education and TIGI Colour throughout the Australian continent gaining TIGI a stronger foothold in the Australian Industry since TIGIs demerger with TONI & GUY.

 In her role on the TIGI Australia artistic team, Renee fulfilled opportunities to work with Anthony Mascolo and numerous leading fashion designers as well working editorially with Australian premiere fashion magazines ‘Oyster’, ‘culture’ and Hairdressers Journal. Since moving to The USA in 2010, Renee has continued her passion of education and colour by working as a TIGI Talent Colour Educator based initially in  Los Angeles California  and Dallas Texas where she travels all over the continent educating on  technical colour Knowledge and the latest fashion trends and techniques. 

Renee recently moved to New York City as a Color Educator at the TIGI Academy in SoHo. Renee welcomes conversation and connection with like-minded hairdressers on the shared goal of excellence.
